This assessment naturally varies according to the type of charter.
At Artheau Aviation, our activities are organised around four specialist departments: Business Aviation, Commercial Aviation, Sports and Air Cargo. A private jet carrying a few passengers is not prepared in the same way as a flight for 150 employees, a professional sports team or an urgent cargo shipment.

How do we source the right aircraft and operator for your mission?
Once we understand your requirements, our brokers begin sourcing aircraft and operators capable of performing your mission.
Our assessment is not based solely on available seats or quoted price. We consider factors including aircraft capacity, range, availability and compatibility with the relevant airports. We also take into account any restrictions that could affect the operation of your flight.
Aircraft location is another important factor. The aircraft you need may not be positioned close to your departure airport when your request is received.
We can therefore approach different operators and compare several aircraft to present solutions compatible with your requirements.
Our assessment does not stop with the aircraft itself.
We also review the relevant elements concerning the operator and the conditions under which your flight will be performed. Our methodology includes checking the certifications and licences required for the operation.
We then compare proposals according to aircraft, flight programme, services, operational conditions and commercial terms.

In Commercial Aviation, logistics operate on a different scale. How do we prepare and follow your flight through to departure?
Once your charter is confirmed, our work continues with the operational preparation of your flight.
We progressively consolidate the required information with the operator and relevant service providers, including the programme, passengers, baggage, services, specific requests or cargo characteristics depending on your mission.
Our teams use several operational tools and resources to structure this preparation and centralise the information required to follow each flight.
These include internal software, our internal charter management tool, and FlightBrief, our operational roadmap containing the key information required to prepare each mission.
These tools support our teams without replacing the human analysis and coordination required for each operation.
For a commercial charter flight, for example, we can prepare and review passenger information, seating when a customised arrangement has been requested, special baggage and check-in arrangements.
As departure approaches, we also review the operational information required for your flight.
On departure day, our methodology can include checking the aircraft's positioning, reviewing passenger lists, monitoring check-in desk opening and supervising the check-in process.
Our follow-up continues through boarding. Depending on the mission, we can monitor passenger numbers, coordinate catering and communicate information regarding the status of the flight.
Our teams also have access to information used to follow aircraft positioning and movements. We can consult METAR and TAF weather data to anticipate conditions that may affect your operation.
This follow-up becomes particularly important when something changes.
