Charter a Bombardier CRJ1000

Need to transport a group on the same aircraft while avoiding the constraints of scheduled airline services? At Artheau Aviation, we arrange Bombardier CRJ1000 charter flights for corporate travel, sports teams, tour operators, government delegations and private groups worldwide.

With seating for up to 104 passengers, a range of 3,004 km (1,622 nautical miles) and a cruising speed of 870 km/h (Mach 0.82), the Bombardier CRJ1000 is designed for regional and short-haul group travel. Its spacious cabin, regional jet performance and ability to operate from many regional airports make it an efficient solution for dedicated charter flights.

Every charter project begins with a detailed assessment of your itinerary, passenger numbers and operational requirements. We recommend the Bombardier CRJ1000 only when it offers the right balance between passenger capacity, flexibility and overall charter efficiency.

Bombardier CRJ1000 charter prices from Paris

Wondering how much it costs to charter a Bombardier CRJ1000? The table below provides indicative one-way group charter prices from Paris airports to selected regional and European destinations. Prices vary depending on aircraft availability, positioning flights, airport charges, taxes, operating fees and seasonal demand.

Indicative Bombardier CRJ1000 one-way group charter prices from Paris
Departure Destination Flight time Indicative price Typical capacity Price per passenger* Our recommendation
Paris Nice 1h05 €9,500–€12,500 Up to 104 €91–€120 ★★★☆☆ Efficient for a full group transfer. For under 70 passengers, a smaller jet may reduce the cost per seat.
Paris Geneva 0h50 €8,500–€11,000 Up to 104 €82–€106 ★★★☆☆ A short sector best suited to a full or near-full group, given the fixed positioning cost.
Paris Malaga 1h50 €14,500–€18,500 Up to 104 €139–€178 ★★★★☆ A strong fit for a full-group leisure or corporate trip, with direct routing.
Paris Marrakech 2h35 €20,000–€25,500 Up to 104 €192–€245 ★★★★★ One of the CRJ1000's ideal missions, balancing seat count, speed and flight time.
Paris Dubrovnik 2h05 €16,500–€21,500 Up to 104 €159–€207 ★★★★☆ Well suited to large sports federations and event groups needing direct airport access.
Paris Istanbul 3h00 €23,500–€29,000 Up to 104 €226–€279 ★★★★☆ A strong option for a large delegation or conference group on a mid-haul sector.
Paris Reykjavik 3h00 €24,000–€29,500 Up to 104 €231–€284 ★★★☆☆ Close to the aircraft's operational range. Payload and fuel reserves are reviewed case by case.

*Indicative price per passenger based on a full 104-passenger charter. Group airliner charters are booked by aircraft, not by individual seat.

The prices shown are estimates and do not constitute a firm offer. The final Bombardier CRJ1000 charter cost may vary depending on aircraft positioning, airport charges, operating fees, taxes, seasonality, crew logistics and last-minute availability.

The CRJ1000 delivers its best value on routes between 1 and 3 flight hours, carrying a full or near-full group. For very short domestic hops with fewer passengers, Artheau Aviation may recommend a smaller regional jet to reduce the charter cost.

Why charter a Bombardier CRJ1000?

Chartering an entire aircraft allows your passengers to travel on a schedule built around your project rather than the constraints of scheduled airline services. Everyone departs together, arrives together and flies directly to the airport best suited to the final destination.

Unlike scheduled flights, a dedicated charter removes unnecessary connections, limited seat availability and fixed departure times. The Bombardier CRJ1000 combines the flexibility of a charter flight with the capacity of a regional airliner, making it an excellent choice for larger groups.

The Bombardier CRJ1000 is particularly well suited for:

  • Company-wide conferences and corporate events,
  • National sports federations transporting players, staff and equipment,
  • Tour operators and event agencies organising closed-group travel,
  • Government and institutional delegations requiring a dedicated flight schedule.

With capacity for up to 104 passengers, the Bombardier CRJ1000 is particularly suited to regional and short-haul charter operations.

Bombardier CRJ1000 features and charter highlights

The Bombardier CRJ1000 is the largest member of the CRJ family, combining increased passenger capacity with the proven efficiency of Bombardier's regional jet platform. Its four-abreast 2+2 cabin layout provides every passenger with either a window or aisle seat.

The cabin measures 2.55 m wide, 1.89 m high and 23.60 m long, offering the most spacious interior of the CRJ family while maintaining the operational advantages of a regional jet.

The aircraft offers approximately 27 m³ of baggage capacity, accommodating standard luggage, sports equipment and professional material, subject to weight and loading limitations.

Powered by two General Electric CF34-8C5A1 turbofan engines, the Bombardier CRJ1000 cruises at 870 km/h (Mach 0.82) and is equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 avionics and an active control system, delivering reliable performance across regional and short-haul operations.

Depending on the operator, the aircraft may be configured with up to 104 seats in a single-class cabin or around 97 seats in a more spacious two-class layout.

Which missions is the Bombardier CRJ1000 best for?

The Bombardier CRJ1000 is designed for regional and short-haul flights where passenger capacity, operational flexibility and direct routing are essential. With seating for up to 104 passengers, it bridges the gap between regional jets and larger narrow-body airliners.

For corporate travel, the aircraft is frequently chartered for:

  • Company-wide conferences and corporate events,
  • Executive roadshows and investor meetings,
  • Product launches and press events,
  • Multi-team business travel on a shared schedule.

Sports federations regularly use the Bombardier CRJ1000 to transport players, coaching staff and equipment on a dedicated flight, simplifying travel logistics for national and international competitions.

The aircraft is also well suited to tour operators, event agencies and public institutions requiring dedicated transport for large closed-group travel, official delegations or institutional missions.

The story behind the Bombardier CRJ1000

The Bombardier CRJ1000 is the final and largest development of the original Canadair Regional Jet family, created to compete with the new generation of 100-seat regional aircraft.

Bombardier officially launched the programme on 19 February 2007 under the designation CRJ900X before adopting the CRJ1000 name. The aircraft extends the CRJ900 fuselage by 2.74 metres to accommodate additional passengers.

The Bombardier CRJ1000 completed its first flight on 3 September 2008. Following additional flight-testing and certification work, Transport Canada and EASA awarded type certification in November 2010.

The first production aircraft entered commercial service in December 2010 with Air Nostrum in Spain and Brit Air in France.

Built on the same platform as the CRJ700 and CRJ900, the Bombardier CRJ1000 completed the CRJ family, extending its passenger capacity from 68 to 104 seats.

When should you choose a different aircraft than the Bombardier CRJ1000?

While the Bombardier CRJ1000 is an excellent choice for regional group travel, it is not the most suitable aircraft for every charter project.

At Artheau Aviation, we assess every request individually before recommending an aircraft. Passenger numbers, route distance, airport accessibility, baggage requirements and budget all influence the final recommendation.

For groups of fewer than 70 passengers, the Bombardier CRJ900 often provides a more cost-effective alternative on similar regional routes.

Where operating costs are the primary consideration, particularly on shorter sectors, turboprops such as the ATR 72-600 may offer a better balance between efficiency and journey time.

If your project requires additional seating capacity, aircraft such as the Embraer E195 or the Airbus A220-100 accommodate around 120 to 133 passengers while maintaining excellent regional performance.

For larger groups, narrow-body aircraft such as the Airbus A319 or the Boeing 737 family provide greater seating capacity and may be the more appropriate solution.

Our role is to compare the available aircraft and recommend the option that best matches your itinerary, operational requirements and budget.

Aircraft Passengers Range Cruise speed Indicative price* Best suited for
Bombardier CRJ900 Up to 90 2,956 km / 1,596 NM 880 km/h · Mach 0.85 From €6,500/hour Smaller groups under 90 passengers, on the same family platform, at a lower hourly cost.
Embraer E190 Up to 114 4,537 km / 2,450 NM 870 km/h · Mach 0.82 From €7,500/hour A similar-capacity alternative with a different cabin cross-section and longer range.
Embraer E195 Up to 122 4,074 km / 2,200 NM 870 km/h · Mach 0.82 From €8,200/hour Larger groups up to 122 passengers, on the same E-Jet platform as the E190.
Airbus A220-100 Up to 133 6,297 km / 3,400 NM 829 km/h · Mach 0.78 From €9,500/hour Groups needing the longest range in this class, on a newer-generation airframe.

*Indicative hourly charter rates only. Final prices vary depending on the selected aircraft, positioning, routing, airport charges, taxes, crew logistics, seasonality and availability.

The CRJ1000 does not offer the longest range or the highest seat count in its category, but it delivers the largest capacity still available in the CRJ family. The E195 or A220-100 may suit larger or longer-range missions, while the CRJ900 can reduce cost for groups under 90 passengers.
